Datalogz and TechVedika co-hosted an evening for Hyderabad’s data and AI leaders at Tansen on September 18. The dinner brought together CxOs, IT heads, and analytics leaders from across the city for an evening of networking and meaningful conversations.

The evening’s panel discussion centered on Decision Infrastructure and Semantic Intelligence in the AI Era. It featured Logan Havern, CEO of Datalogz; Sai Sangineni, CEO of TechVedika; Ashish Shekhar, Head of Information Technology (CIO) at Re Sustainability Limited; and Vineet Batra, VP and Head of Data, India, at Chubb. The conversation covered how enterprises are rethinking their data and AI stacks as adoption scales.
Panelists explored the converging frontiers of semantic intelligence, context awareness, and ontological frameworks as the foundational backbone for next-generation enterprise AI. They highlighted that while large language models excel at raw pattern recognition, layering rich, contextual metadata and semantic graphs is what ultimately resolves ambiguity, enforces governance, and drives true reasoning in complex data environments. Ultimately, the synthesis of these three elements was framed not just as an architectural trend, but as an imperative step for transitioning AI from probabilistic prediction to trusted, enterprise-grade decision intelligence.
An Evening Built for Conversation
Away from the panel, the evening unfolded as a relaxed dinner, with guests seated together over food and drinks rather than moving between conference booths. The format gave attendees room to trade notes on the practical challenges of running analytics and AI programs at scale, in a setting more suited to open discussion than a stage.
